Nothing to look at, nothing to see. Kar wasn't a beauty, but his spirit was free.
Now that that bad ryming job is over, Kar trotted into the land, smiling at the area around. His strangely silver-black occuli peered around. It was cold - beautifully cold. He sighed, happy.
Raising his head to the freezing stars above, he howled, his cry allowing others to know he was here, and here he would stay. It did not echo - for it never does - but did pierce the souls of the hearer. ((sorry, no muse whatsoever))

A howl was returned to the brute via a small, white vix. She heard his cries, alerting the world to his gain - his new lands. She wished to join a pack, for lonliness was not something the she-wolf could bear. She had one good friend, Sasha, who was also looking for a home. Perhapse, Larka wondered, they could come here.
She smelt the area and found a trail leading to the new alpha male. She wagged her tail and smiled, coming out from the shadows.
"Hello there. I am Larka."

The cranium was brought down, peircing emerald eyes gazed upon the white vix. Brute nodded his large, grey head to the small fae.
"Hello, Larka,"
he replied, voice deep, wary yet not unkind.
"I am Kar."
A fae? Here? In the wild white wilderness? Well, one couldn't complain when one of the opposite gender shows up. One just sits back and learns about the other.

He white pelt was almost invisible against the frosted lands, snow gathered about her and hid her footprints, leaving no sign that she had come, yet, when she walked, the footprints would appear as if from nowhere. She smiled and dipped her crown slightly.
"I hear you are alpha now, Kar."
She said with a lopsided grin, slightly embarressed. She had been alone for a while now, and her friend Ssha was long gone, to new lands, Larka supposed.
